Jaybird is the 9 year old who is held captive and worth a huge ransom.Who do you think would be good actors/actresses for the main roles? Also, what parts of the book do you think they will need to change for the movie version? I can’t wait to hear your own thoughts, whether good or bad. However, some were disappointed in the parts that were gruesome, unbelievable, and frustrating. Overall, it appears that people liked that it was a quick read, and they were interested to see what happened. I’ve noticed that this book has received a variety of reviews. I know that not everyone has been able to read this book, (and we changed the selection at one point) but hopefully you can still attend and enjoy the discussion and brunch food.
